I am a biblical scholar and teacher, working mostly with the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament. I am Tutor in Old Testament at Northern College, Manchester, and teach at Luther King House. I'm affiliated with King's College London and the University of Exeter, and I also teach throughout the Church of England, and more widely in the Anglican Communion. I am a Reader/LLM in the Church of England, a lay member of its General Synod and author and editor of several books, including SPCK's 2016 Lent book, Abraham: A journey through Lent and its follow-up volume, Joseph: A story of resilience, published by SPCK in June 2020.
