BIBLICAL SCHOLAR AND TEACHER

ABOUT ME
In my work I seek to make the very best of current biblical scholarship available to everybody, regardless of theological background and training. I aim to engage and inspire audiences, whether they be at an international conference or in a local parish. I believe that everybody deserves the opportunity to expand their horizons through exposure to the exciting and challenging ways that people are reading the Bible around the world. I have taught in parts of the world where context has an enormous impact on how people read the Bible - places like South Africa, Mexico and Australia - and I am excited to share the fruits of that experience.
My own Christian faith is central to my professional work at all levels. I'm proud to be a licensed Reader in the Diocese of London, and to represent the Diocese on the General Synod of the Church of England. It is also important to me engage with scholars and students from other faith backgrounds, or none.
HIRE ME!
I am available to speak to dioceses and parishes both within and outside the Church of England. See Testimonials for details of previous bookings and acclaim from organisers and audiences and Contact Me for details about how to get in touch.
